The Humanitarian Forum alongside UN OCHA and Jordan Hashemite Charitable Organisation hosted the national consultation workshop in Jordan. It was attended by 20 representatives from national and international humanitarian organisations. Important points raised at the consultation included: the difference in traditions and cultural norms between the refugee communities and host communities and how those differences can create communal tensions between both groups. Participants also spoke about the power disparity between the different actors in the supply chain i.e. the donor, the implementing agency, affected community.
