The World Humanitarian Action Forum is not an organisation, it is an initiative to address common issues affecting the sector and promote collaborative working at local and international levels.
On 28th November 2017, representatives from INGOs, local and national NGOs from the global ‘North’ and ‘South’, public sector officials, philanthropists, donors, academia, and the media met in London for the first World Humanitarian Action Forum (WHAF). WHAF 2017 Report (June 2018) ENGLISH
THF carried out four country case studies on the impact of de-risking on NGOs (Yemen, Somalia, Palestine and Syria). The research reports were published between February-August 2018 by our partner The Overseas Development Institute (ODI). The De-risking research was a partnership project between The Humanitarian Forum, ODI and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
